Evening folks, just a really quick post tonight as I'm still exhausted from the weekend, Friday night we were out for a Chinese meal for my hubby's birthday. Saturday, early start at the NEC; quite restrained really, I didn't buy too much, but did manage to stay for the whole day, my poor feet! Saturday evening, a friend at work had a 40th birthday party, needless to say I didn't do too much dancing. Anyway, enought waffle, I put this on the Do-Craft site and asked anyone interested in details to visit my blog, so I thought I'd better make the effort to post it.
You may know from previous posts that I really like Lavinia stamps, probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I like the fairy fantasy theme. The idea is to build a background using a brayer and Adirondack inkpads. I love doing this, it's great fun. Here's the recipe:
Lavinia Fairy, toadstool and vine stamps
Clarity grass stamp
Adirondack rainbow inks (Mountain Lake and Winter Sky)
Adirondack ink pads (Butterscotch and Red Pepper for the sun)
Stampman Sentiment
Gold braid from stash
Liquid pearls for the fairy dust
Ooops, that wasn't a quick post at all was it? Removing matchsticks from eyelids now and off to bed. x
