Less is More - White on White

This week's lessismore challenge is a white on white theme.  As much as I love white on white, it is a mare to photograph.  I think this is a little dark, but otherwise you wouldn't be able to see the detail in the tree.

The tree was cut from my Cameo using a download from the Silhouette store.  I covered it in Versamark ink and then added Detail Clear embossing powder to give it a little sheen and then used silicone glue to mount it onto the card giving it a bit of dimension.

The sentiment stamp is from Paula Pascual 'Large Christmas' stamp set.  It has proved my most useful Christmas stamp so far this year.

While I'm at it here's a couple more Christmas cards I've made this week:

Using IndigoBlu stamps, my Cameo to cut out the bauble aperture and Adirondack inks (and that Paula Pascual sentiment again).

Using Penny Black Leaping Deer, Hampton Arts Snowflake and my Cameo to cut out the banner (and that Paula Pascual sentiment yet again)
Have a good weekend everyone.

And finally, I resurrected a card from last year and added another banner cut on my Cameo:

Whoa - Two cards in a day

What a shock!

And all because I'm a fair weather gardener!  A bit chilly out there for me today and as O/H has gone to the footie it's given me a chance to get into my little craft room for some craft therapy.

I was running really late for the less is more challenge last week and with the probs with blogger as well I nearly missed getting my entry in. Noooooo!  It would have been the first one I missed.  The post I did for the WoW card disappeared and then reappeared after I'd done it again and as I didn't want to lose any of the lovely comments left I've left both on (in case you were wondering why two of the same).

For this week Chrissie and Mandi have asked for a one layer card with the addition of embossing - dry or heat.  So, here's my enteries:

This one has been stamped with Versamark black ink and then heat embossed using clear gloss embossing powder - you may just be able to tell from the photo

The sentiment is from that Paula Pascual set again!
The cardstock is SU
Ribbon from Hobbycraft

And for my second card I dug out an old Hedgie stamp:

I'm also going to enter into the following challenges:
I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder
Penny Black stamp - Buzz in the air
Prisma pencils
Clare Curd sentiment stamp
Hope you like them.
