Vintage for a change

I know this isn't my usual kinda thing, but I've had this Paper Artsy stamp for years and never used it - you must all have some of these stamps - you see it, love it, buy it and then don't have a clue what to do with it! This is one of those.

After a bit of a blog browse, I came across a few Norwegian blogs which gave me a bit of inspiration.  With a bit of cream card I used Distress inks to give a Vintage look and then stamped with a gorgeous snowflake stamp I've had for years (another one that's been neglected) and also part of a swirly Hero Arts stamp. I added a bit of lace - another first for me, and some punched flowers with findings and some tiny beads in the centre.  The Father Christmas I stamped with Walnut Stain Distress ink and added the same colour as the background around the edges.

I don't think I'll be doing this kind of card too often, much to time consuming!X
