Silhouette Fancy Frame

Quickutz Silhouette have just had another 99 cent sale on all their downloads, so I took the opportunity of adding loads more to my gallery. This is one that I purchased. A beautiful Victorian frame. I was a bit unsure how it would cut, being so intricate, but as you can see it worked a treat. Here's a close up for you to see:

It came in two parts, the more solid background shape and the intricate frame to sit on top of it. I cut the solid part out of blue card and added a bit of Weathered Wood Distress ink to the edge The fancy bit was cut out of white card.

I used some textured white card to layer the frame onto, which was also inked with Weathered Wood and distressed with a Tim Holtz distressing tool.

The gorgeous image is a digi download, but for the life of me I can't remember where from. I had a bit of trouble with the ink bleeding with this one (so I've ordered some Ghiant fixative to try to stop this from happening, I've heard that this does the trick). I used my Faber Castell pencils to colour the couple in.

The dotty background paper is from K&Co and I added a few pearl beads and ribbon to finish.

Have a good weekend everyone! x
