Me to You Tatty Teddy

It's been a long time since my last post, I know.  O/H had two weeks off which has kept me away from my crafting whilst we did some DIY jobs around the house and then spent a few days away in the New Forest, which was really lovely.  He's back to work now and I've been able to steal away into my little craft room and have a play with my new Tatty Teddy cd.

I know a lot of people think that cd crafting isn't proper crafting but I have to disagree.  There's lots of creating still to be done when making your little masterpiece by choosing backgrounds, adding papers, embellishments, sentiments, not to mention the lovely characters and then putting them into a pleasing composition.  I'm certainly finding that there's so much to play with on this cd, the number of cards you can make with it are endless.  I'm loving it.

Here are a few cards I've done so far:

This one was for my daugher.  You may not be able to see in the photo, but I've added lots of glitter to the heart. It looks very pretty.

This one is my first Christmas card for the year.  Although it looks like lots of matting and layering has been done, it is actually only one piece of card. I used the punch feature on the cd to make it look like layers.  Again, lots of sparkle added to the tree and teddy's hat.

Finally, a quick card for my sister and brother-in-law.  They celebrate their first wedding anniversary this weekend.
I'm really loving playing with this cd and know I will get plenty of use out of it.  Money well spent I think.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a good week.

even if people do not see it has proper crafting, you can print out the individual pages and matt and layer as you would a normal card. This is gorgeous! I love the christmas card, i love them all!
