Red and green must NOT be seen

Edit: I decided this would be a nice card for my little neice, so I added her name to it using Hero Arts Alphabet stamps ( yes it is an unusual name - my sister decided to call her baby after the volcano in Tenerife - she always was strange!)

This week's papertakeweekly challenge is for a card without traditional Christmas colours of red and green. So here's mine.  It's a very simple card featuring an old Sugar Nellie stamp 'Maggie with dottie scarf'.  I think she's so cute, but has been another of my neglected stamps (she's never been inked before). Shame!  I used Promarkers to colour her and a circle Nestie to cut her out. The background is some craft card dotted with a white gel pen.  The sentiment is by HOTP.

A birthday card next for a change:

This card was made for a friend who recently did a charity climb of Everest, at the age of 59.  I'm so impressed, I find walking to the top of my stairs tiring (must get fit in the New Year).  This digi stamp, which I thought was very appropriate, is from the digistampboutique and I coloured him with Promarkers and added my computer generated sentiment.  Another simple card, just a bit of matting and that's it.
