Finally
Finally, I got my craft desk back, yippee. Hope you are all well in blog land, I've got a lot of catching up to do!
It's been a very long month, not one card done in all this time. My poor baby has literally spent day and night studying for her exams (who'd be a law student!). She's finished for now and all her books have been moved back into her own room (stuffed in drawers so she doesn't have to look at them again until October). However, she's decided she want's to live in a student house with her friends next academic year (can't blame her, I'm sure it would be so much more fun than studying alone at home), so I shouldn't have to share the desk again. Yeah.
Ok, as you know I have been leaning very much towards the C&S look for my cards recently, after trying the 'put as much as you can onto it' look - which doesn't really suit me at all - some people are really good at this look and their cards are spectacular, but mine just look a mess. So, I've decided to stick at what I like and I think looks better for me.
For this card I used:
DCWV background card
Clarity stamp
Do-crafts crystals
Anita's peel-off
I used a square aperture and inked the centre of the card with a pink inkpad and then stamped over it. You can tell from the picture, but the flourish stamp has been embossed. I used a dreaded peel off sentiment and added a couple of crystals to finish.
