Birthday Wishes featuring Quickutz Silhouette

I've been having another play with my Silhouette machine (I love it, I love it, I love it). I was a bit worried that the scalloped frame would be difficult to cut using some lovely sort of pearlised card I have because of it's thickness. I've read lots of comments from people saying that the Silhouette can only cut thin paper and card, but up to now (touch wood) I've not had a problem with anything I've tried to cut! I sized the frame to cut 41/2" square to fit on a 5" square card, but I could have cut it any size at all (it's so clever).

The flourish was again cut out with the machine, this time I used white card and just inked it in black.

The sentiment stamp is from Stamping Up. The rest of the items are all from my stash.

Here's a bit of a close up so you can see how cleanly it's been cut - anyone ummming and ahhhing about getting this machine, I have to say that I think it's the greatest!!
