It was such a surprise when I went to check out who the lucky winner was, I just had to keep pinching myself, I was sure I was imaging my name in print, I asked my daughter to come look and tell me I wasn't seeing things.lol. So I'd like to send a great big thank you to Julie for such lovely candy and to her friend Teresa for choosing my card. What a hard decision she had, I was checking out the other entries and didn't think I stood a chance against all the fab cards made by the other ladies. Can't wait for the postie to arrive!
Anyone who has never visited julies blog, please go and check it out, she is a very talented card maker and well worth a look.
Even more excitement this weekend. My second favourite weekend of the year is approaching, the Hobbycraft show is on at the NEC (my first favourite weekend is the Hobbycraft show in November). I can't wait, I'll be there at the door when the show opens at 9.30, I hope to get some lovely new goodies.
I always take a list of things I NEED, but I always come home with nothing on the list and lots of other things instead, do you do that?
One useful tip, I always write a list of the ink pads I have and use a piece of copier paper to punch out all my paper punches so I don't duplicate any. How many times have you stood there trying to think if you already had something, decide you haven't and when you get home you have ended up with two? lol.
Well anyone else making the trip to Brum for the show this week, I hope you have a great time and get lots of exciting new things, I'll show you what I get in a later post.
One last thing, thankyou to you lovely ladies for leaving a message of congratulations on my win, I appreciate it. x
